Rules & Guidelines of Random!

Post by Emperor » 10 Dec 2016, 17:04

Welcome to Random!!
A place of fun where you and your friends can show off something funny or just show off how weird you and your friends are! Just a few things to remember:
1) Random doesn't mean a free pass.
We can all agree this is the random section (At least, I hope so). That doesn't mean you're free to do whatever you like, whenever you like. Keep it within the main site guidelines located here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15322

2) It's still a PG-13 site.
Yeah, you have slightly more freedom to post whatever you think will get some laughs. As of recent, I've been noticing rather borderline sexual images being posted within the random thread. Don't do it. If you're unsure, it's probably safer not to post it. Just so it's explicitly stated, nudity or extremely suggestive pictures are subject to deletion or a warning if done frequently by the same person.

3) Drama-free zone.
As I was told by a user, they felt it was alright to post their drama here because it was random. Haha, no. Random is no excuse to show off your pointless, petty drama. If you have an issue with another user, take it to PM's, comments (should they remain unapproved and off public's eye), or off the site entirely. <-- You should aim for that.

4) Passive-aggression.
This ties with the forum being drama-free. We can point passive-aggression, or 'shade' a mile away. Don't try it here, or anywhere here for that matter. Take it elsewhere. This is something that we're holding a lower tolerance to. No one is saying you have to like every person on this site, but we are saying that you shouldn't take unnecessary shots at each other. Respect each other like adults. It isn't that hard to do.

5) Going off-topic.
For topics other than the random thread, don't get off-topic. Make sure you're reading the original post and that you're sticking to it. Consequences for derailment is situational and can include locking the topic, issuing a verbal warning, or issuing a board warning. The random thread is exempt from this one since, there isn't a topic, per se.

This revision has been long overdue and goes into effect immediately.
