Standing up to meet his eyes, Jean slowly placed her hands around Logan's head, just above his hair and making no actual physical contact. Immediately their minds connected, and she opened up the door to his mind to show him everything she remembers about him. Even the dark memories of him killing her over and over.
Jean never held this against him though, rather she secretly thanked him for stopping Dark Phoenix, and on another occasion, saved her from the suffering caused by radiation.
In real time, it was only a second for those memories to transfer. However, the receiver of those memories lived each moment, making time stretch on forever. Once it was over, Jean slowly retracted her hands and put them at her sides, gripping her pockets in anticipation. It most likely worked, however it didn't stop the one thought that kept creeping up. What or who made Logan lose his memories?

In moments most of his memories would dart into him at once. His eyes watering as he experienced most of them as she implanted them inside. His muscles tensing as he lived through every intense memory jean had witnessed. It wasn't until seconds later Logan grabbed the woman and embrassed her. Remembering the pain he put her through, even remembering his love for her. Releasing her slowly Logan began to head toward the door. His face now filled with vengeance and violence. Trying to keep his composure because he knew how much it scared jean to see him act as an animal. He nodded to her with glee. "Thank you luv.... it now I have to track down the bastard that did this to me."

At first the hug surprised her, but she hugged back. As he released her, she noticed the slight change in his composure as he walked towards the door. Jean felt the anger rolling off of him, and can tell he was trying to contain it.
"I can help if you want it." She said as he made it to the door.
Jean knew this could be dangerous, and hoped she wouldn't have to use much of her powers or else Logan could witness her die once more. She was determined to not let that happen. The mutant refrained from telling him this, because he would definitely deny her from helping. Jean wasn't going to take no for an answer. If he did, then she would help him in secret.
Following him to the door, she stood next to him anticipating the response.

Logan shook his head, denying her from traveling with him. But he knew his word meant nothing to her, if she wanted to go she would. In all honesty, Logan was a solo soldier. But a little company wouldn't hurt him. Though jean should be resting and returning to normal. He couldn't stop her even if he wanted to. That was more of Scott's job, a long time rival of Logan's. Always competing for the love and attention of jean. Wolverine opened the door, then glanced over to jean. "Pack light, we leave in an hour." Then walking out he began to light a cigar, placing inbetween his lips.

Jean laced her fingers together in the front, not having anything to pack or prepare except herself. She sorta came unprepared.
Following Logan out of the door, the sunlight slightly blinded her, and it finally hit her. She was in New York city! Jean felt ridiculous, this is where she was born, and yet she had not recognized it at first. Well, it was dark when she first arrived, plus in a state of confusion.
Snapping out of her thoughts, Jean focused back on Logan as they walked out of the motel.
"What was your first memory after you lost them?"
