It sucks and brings nothing but catfishing, pain and suffering. I know it by self experience.

If you can trust the person enough, and keep that trust with them, go for it. If not, don't. Simple as that. It's all built upon trust of two individuals and up to them, but don't go up and pretend to like it if you don't want to be with them anymore. Firing shots like half the police out there.

Online dating ain't for me.
Every one of them I had never seemed to work out that well. Online dating isn't for every one and shouldn't be forced. If you honestly feel like you can make it work and you have a genuine connection with your other half, by all means, go for it.

Honestly at this point i dunno if you can count it as online dating anymore- we visit each other pretty frequently nowadays. Hopefully will move in together in the next year or so
